Your Story Doesn't Fit the Box They Built for It.
And the constant shape-shifting is costing you your voice, your creativity, and your wholeness.
But what if the problem isn't your story? What if the problem is the container you've been trying to fit it into?
You've learned to shape-shift so seamlessly, you've forgotten what your real voice sounds like.
You edit the "messy" parts of your story because you've been taught they're "too much" or "not enough" for professional spaces.
You translate yourself constantly... and you're exhausted.
Here, your story is sacred, alive, and embodied.
The Endarkened Narratives Lab is where you Stop Editing
Where you remember what was buried.
Where you reclaim your voice.
Where you give your story a shape that finally fits.
Are You Ready to Reclaim Your Narrative?
The Endarkened Narratives Lab is a 5-month hybrid program where you'll cross five thresholds and create an artifact that finally holds your whole truth.
Applications for the January 2026 cohort is open | Limited space
This is not a writing workshop.
This is not therapy.
This is a 5-month lab for story liberation.
What if your story wasn’t something to fix...but something to come home to?

This Lab is for You if...
→ You're someone whose work keeps getting labeled "too personal," "too emotional," or "not quite right"
→ You're navigating spaces that ask you to leave parts of yourself at the door
→ You know there's a powerful story you're carrying, but you don't know how to honor it without sanitizing it
→ You've lost your "I'm just gonna do me" energy somewhere along the way—in graduate school, in your career, in the pursuit of being "professional"
→ You're tired of performing and shape-shifting to fit into spaces
→ You're experiencing censorship or silencing in your work and you need a brave space to create anyway
→ You're ready to stop performing and start creating from a place of wholeness
→ You want community that witnesses you without trying to fix you
No polished draft or writing experience required.
You don't have to be a scholar, creative, or writer—only willing to breathe, reflect, and tell the truth about what's real for you.

Are You Ready to Reclaim Your Narrative?
Ready to pause, listen, and reimagine your story on your terms?
Your story is breath, memory, spirit, resistance, and becoming. Think of it as reflection with receipts: concrete tools, real writing, and a story you can use right away.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT?
✨We don't teach you to "write better", but we help you remember what you were told to forget. We ask questions that reveal the blind spots you didn't even know you had.
✨There is no rush here. We build in integration weeks because deep work takes time. Your pace is the right pace.
✨We witness, honor, and reflect back what we see. You'll get feedback from the community, no judgment. No grades.
✨We don't make you choose between justice and creativity. This work is both. Always. We center stories that conventional spaces have rendered invisible, and we honor them through artistic practice.
✨Completion looks like whatever you define it as. Practice and progress. Not perfection.
Your Story Doesn't Need Permission to Exist
For too long, you've been shape-shifting to fit.
The Endarkened Narratives Lab is where you stop.
Where you remember. Reclaim. Reimagine. Refine. Release.
Where your story gets to take up space without apologizing.

What participants are saying...
"The prompts have been life-changing. The questions are hitting and unpacking blind spots—things I didn't even realize I needed to become aware of. It's the questions that I didn't realize I needed to ask."
- R.B. 2025 Participant
"I actually ended up crying, shedding tears, and I felt like it was a healing process. I was constantly shedding old expectations, old paradigms that I had held onto."
-A.H 2025 Participant
"Reclaiming: confidence and focus. Releasing: desire to please, fear of judgment and perfectionism."
-T.H. 2025 Participant
"I realized in my doctoral journey, I lost that ability to just be like, 'I'm just gonna do me.' This work helped me get back to it."

A little curious?
You've Got Questions, We've Got Answers
No. This isn't about writing skill—it's about truth-telling. Your artifact can take any form that honors your story: written, visual, audio, performance, or something entirely your own. One participant created spoken word with visuals. Another is still evolving their piece over time. There's no "right way.
We've designed the program with integration weeks specifically for catching up. Life happens. Your pace is the right pace. You'll continue to have access to materials after the program ends.
No, though the work can be deeply healing. I'm not a therapist, and this isn't a therapeutic program. It's a creative and reflective practice container. Some participants have experienced healing breakthroughs, but that's a byproduct, not the goal. If you're in active crisis, we recommend therapeutic support first.
No. You just need to come with a willingness to reflect, create, and be present with your story. No prior experience is required. The final artifact is creative, but the process is deeply personal.
Perfect. Most people don't at first. We spend the first two months exploring before you commit to a form. And even then, you can change your mind mid-stream. The work unfolds; it can't be forced.
This program is not affiliated with any academic institution and does not offer academic credit. However, many participants use their artifact work to inform their academic, professional, or creative projects. Some have used it as part of dissertation work or professional portfolios.

The connection call is designed to help us see if this is a good time and space for your story to unfold.
This Lab is for personal narrative work, doing endarkened narrative inquiry on your own story. If you're looking to use ENI with research participants, we'll have a separate ENI Research Methods program in the future. However, many researchers find that doing personal work first deepens their understanding of the methodology.
