A Look into The Ritual
The Ritual Journal + Guide
A place to return to yourself.
*Pre-sale item. Journals are currently in production and are expected to ship October 2026.
You don’t need another journal telling you what to do.
You need a place to slow down, listen to yourself, and make meaning from what’s already there.
The Ritual Journal + Guide is a reflective practice designed to help you reconnect with yourself so you can live, work, and create with greater intention.
The Journal gives you the space to think freely. Part structured reflection, part open canvas, it invites you to write, question, notice, and explore without requiring you to have the “right” answer.
The Guide gives you somewhere to begin. With 30 intentional prompts, it offers invitations for reflection rather than instructions to follow. You can move through the prompts in order, return to the ones that meet you where you are, or simply let one question open the door to something you need to consider.
Together, they create a practice of reflection that is less about becoming more productive and more about becoming more present to yourself.
Pre-Order Details
The Ritual Guide is currently in production. Your card is charged at checkout, and orders are expected to ship in October 2026 — we'll send tracking as soon as your guide is on its way.
The Ritual was born on Kickstarter, where it was selected as a "Project We Love" and funded at over 150% of its $1,500 goal (as of September 3, 2026). See the original campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/theritual/the-ritual-1

Built for real life
Reflection that fits into the life you already have, not the life you'd need to clear space for.
Built for intention
A pause built into your day, not a retreat from it.
Built for Depth
A practice you return to, not a habit you keep up with.
Reflection Should Not Be a Privilege
We believe everyone deserves access to meaningful space for reflection.
Through the Reflection Forward Initiative, Sienna & Slate donates journals and reflection resources to individuals and communities who may not otherwise have access to them.
When you purchase The Ritual, you help make reflection available beyond your own practice.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will this journal last?
That depends on how you use it. The Ritual is designed to be a substantial journal you can return to over time, rather than something you are expected to finish quickly. Because it is undated, you can use it consistently or come back to it during seasons when you need more space to reflect.
What if I’m inconsistent with journaling?
You don't have to be. The Ritual is undated and designed to be used at your own pace. There is no daily writing requirement or schedule to maintain. Pick it up when you need a place to think, reflect, or work through something.
But I like routine. Will this work for me if I don't want to just wing it?
Absolutely. The Reflection Guide gives you 30 prompts to work through, the Return Index gives you a system for revisiting entries, and the Connection Prompts give you a specific way to work with what you've written. There's structure here. What we left out is the pressure to keep it up daily or catch up on missed days. You can move through the guide one prompt at a time, in any order, and still have a consistent practice, it just doesn't come with a streak to break.
I've never journaled before. Is this for me?
Yes. The prompt booklet does the hard part of getting started. You don't need to know what to write -- just light the candle, open to a prompt, and let it lead you in. Some days you'll write three words, other days you may write three pages. Both count.
What if I already have unfinished notebooks or journals?
That's okay. The Ritual isn't meant to replace every notebook you use. It is designed specifically for reflection, meaning-making, and returning to your thoughts over time. If your current notebooks are primarily for notes, lists, planning, or everyday writing, The Ritual gives those deeper reflections their own dedicated space.
What if I’m overwhelmed and don’t know where to start?
Start wherever you are. You don't need to have a specific question or a clear plan before you begin. Use the prompts when you need direction, or simply write what is on your mind. The goal isn't to have the perfect reflection. It is to give yourself space to begin.
