Kimmery Newsom
Kimmery Newsom graduated from Kansas State University with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies. She is a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist (LCMFT) focused on treating people with anxiety, depression, and trauma histories, specifically related to sexual abuse.
Dr. Kimmery Newsom contributed to the Introspection Journal, which is outfitted with writing prompts which provide a starting point to put yourself in dialogue with your writing.

Danielle Warren is our Creative Content Director
Paul Maxfield
Paul Maxfield graduated from Kansas State University in 2018 with Ph.D. in Counselor Education, which he is putting to good use teaching Counseling at the University of Florida. In a previous academic life, he majored in English Literature and Creative Writing. His scholarship lies at the intersection of these two interests in arts-based methods for healing and research.
